Nectar funding has enabled the biodiversity and climate change research community to develop a unique and a comprehensive tool that dramatically reduces the time and effort required to complete ecology and climate change analysis utilising large data. The program has also enabled new collaboration, research and teaching and learning outputs.
eResearch in Australia has a bright future and will be enriched by the Nectar initiative ... we support the Nectar's vision of the connected researcher who at the desktop or bench top has access to workflow-enabled, richly integrated research infrastructure on a national scale.
